During the event planning process it is important that you constantly review the Government guidance as these change often and the date of the guidance is sometimes not updated. The articles on this website may not have been updated to be in line with the Government Guidelines depending on when the guidance is updated. Please look out for the “This is accurate as of” date in each article.
There are many websites that give different pieces of guidance that you may need to refer to, or websites that you may find useful when it comes to planning your COVID-19 secure weddings. We have added and will continue to update a list of useful link here.

We understand and we’re feeling frustrated too! All of the people involved in putting this website together work in the wedding sector and are looking forward to getting back to doing what they love, whatever that may look like.
We know there has been some progress with the government guidelines, but it seems that despite weddings being a £14.7b sector, it’s a sector that hasn’t had as much support as others.
That’s why the #WhatAboutWeddings campaign was created to lobby government and highlight the critical need of the wedding sector for clarity, parity and choice. The campaign also sets out to shine a spotlight on issues that wedding suppliers, venues and couples are experiencing as a result of the pandemic.
